Last summer, we broke ground on our new church that would house more than 11,200 parishioners for decades to come and offer ample space for Masses, sacramental celebrations, meetings, fellowship and parish and community events.
Our new church is now complete, just in time for our Parish Centennial Celebration in 2017.

About Our Parish
Founded in 1917, Saint Kilian Parish is first a community which gathers to praise and thank God. Through the Eucharist, we find spiritual nourishment and sustenance to be a people faithful to the Gospel message of Christ. Our Parish Center, conveniently located at the intersection of Route 228 and Franklin Road in Cranberry Township, is a place where life and activity abound, where young and old find a place to worship, grow in faith and serve God in service to one another and our neighbors. Before all else, Christ is the constant guest in our home, center of all of its life and we praise Him. Click here to learn more about our Parish.
To Build a Church, a Church Alive! Thanks to the prayers and generosity of our parishioners and community, our new church is at last a reality and now serves more than 11,200 parishioners and offers ample space and parking for Masses, sacramental celebrations, meetings, fellowship and parish and community events. We are overjoyed to have completed our new church in time for our Parish Centennial Celebration in 2017 which begins with the Feast Day Mass of Saint Kilian on July 8 and concludes with our Church Dedication Anniversary Mass on September 25.Click here for more information about our new church or to take a 3D tour .

Thank you for helping us keep our parish database current!
There are currently (2017) 188 parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. There will be 150 priests available for
assignment in 2018. Currently, 44 priests are serving beyond having reached retirement age and another 42 will reach retirement age in the next five years. It is expected then that in 2025, there will be approximately 80-90 priests available for assignment. To provide appropriate pastoral care (for people and priests), those 80-90 priests must be able to be assigned to less than the current 188 parishes.
Recently, the Bishop announced new groupings of parishes at regional meetings. These groupings were the result of thousands of pieces of information submitted in various ways. This set of groupings takes the number of parishes from the present 188 to a proposed 49. In the latest plan, Saint Kilian Parish is to be united with Holy Sepulcher Parish in Glade Mills (on Route 8 near its intersection with Route 228). For full and complete details, please click here.
